Terms of Use

FSEG Predictor is a football prediction game where players rank teams and compete in leagues. Match results generate Result Points which are used to calculate player scores.

FSEG Predictor is operated by Nayan Patel, trading as FSEG Predictor, as a sole trader.

By creating an account or using FSEG Predictor, you agree to these Terms of Use and to comply with any competition-specific rules made available through the service.

If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use FSEG Predictor.

You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for keeping access to your account secure.

You must not use another person's account without permission or attempt to gain unauthorised access to another account.

FSEG Predictor is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 18, you should use the service only with the permission of a parent or guardian.

Unless stated otherwise for a particular competition, each player submits one ranking per competition.

That ranking applies automatically to every league the player participates in for the same competition.

Rankings may only be submitted or changed before the applicable submission deadline. Your latest successfully saved ranking at the deadline is the ranking that will be used.

It is your responsibility to submit and save your ranking in sufficient time. FSEG Predictor is not responsible for a missed deadline caused by your device, internet connection, failure to press the save or update control, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Unless competition-specific rules state otherwise, FSEG Predictor currently awards teams:

• 3 Result Points for a win.
• 1 Result Point for a draw.
• 0 Result Points for a defeat.

A player's FSEG Points for a team are calculated by multiplying that team's Result Points by the position in which the player ranked the team.

Lowest total score wins.

Scores and standings depend on football result data obtained from third-party data providers.

FSEG Predictor may correct match data, recalculate scores, or update standings where a fixture, score, result or other relevant information was incomplete, delayed, corrected or previously incorrect.

As a result, league and global standings may change after a correction is received or applied.

Where the FSEG competition rules state that the 90-minute result is used, extra time and penalty shoot-outs do not alter the FSEG win, draw or defeat outcome.

FSEG Predictor's recorded competition data and scoring calculations will govern the displayed game outcome, subject to correcting genuine technical or data errors where identified.

Users may create or join leagues using FSEG Predictor's league features and invitation system.

League names and other user-provided content must not be unlawful, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, deliberately misleading or otherwise inappropriate.

League owners may have additional controls over league membership and administration as described within the service.

You must not:

• Attempt to bypass ranking deadlines, access controls or other competition safeguards.
• Interfere with the operation, availability or security of the website.
• Access data, accounts or areas of the service that you are not authorised to access.
• Use automated systems, scripts or other tools in a way that places an unreasonable load on the service or interferes with other users.
• Attempt to manipulate scoring, standings or league features through technical abuse.
• Use FSEG Predictor for unlawful purposes.

We aim to keep FSEG Predictor available and accurate, but the service may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, technical issues, updates, security reasons or circumstances outside our control.

Continuous, uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed.

FSEG Predictor relies on third-party services, including football-data.org, Supabase and Cloudflare.

Third-party services may experience outages, delays, errors, corrections or changes that are outside FSEG Predictor's control.

We may change or replace third-party providers where reasonably necessary to operate or improve the service.

The FSEG Predictor name, original site design, software, scoring presentation and original content may not be copied, reproduced or redistributed without permission, except where permitted by law.

Football club names, competition names, trademarks and other third-party names or marks remain the property of their respective owners where applicable.

FSEG Predictor is not affiliated with or endorsed by UEFA, any football club or any football governing body unless expressly stated.

We may restrict, suspend or remove access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, enforce these terms, address misuse, investigate suspected abuse or comply with legal obligations.

Where appropriate, we may remove or restrict content, league names or other user-provided information that breaches these terms.

Ending access to an account does not affect rights, obligations or responsibilities that arose before the account was restricted or closed.

FSEG Predictor does not provide betting, wagering or gambling services.

Unless FSEG Predictor expressly states otherwise for a particular promotion or competition, there is no entry fee and no cash or other prize is offered by FSEG Predictor for taking part.

Private arrangements made independently between users are outside FSEG Predictor's control and are not operated, administered or endorsed by FSEG Predictor.

FSEG Predictor is provided as an entertainment and prediction service.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising from temporary service interruption, missed ranking deadlines, third-party service failures, delayed or incorrect football data, loss of locally unsaved information, or events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

FSEG Predictor may change, add, remove or improve features, scoring presentation, league tools or other parts of the service as it develops.

Where a material change affects an active competition, we will aim to avoid changing the core competition rules after rankings have locked unless reasonably necessary to correct an error, comply with law or maintain the integrity of the service.

These Terms of Use may be updated as the service develops. The latest version will be published on this page and the date above will be updated where appropriate.

Where a change materially affects users, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to users' attention where appropriate.

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory protections provided by the law of the country in which you live. Nothing in these terms removes those protections where they apply.

Any dispute may be brought before the courts of England and Wales, subject to any rights you have as a consumer to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction.
